From 25 May till the 3rd of June we have participated in a project of the Wunderkammer, a stylists’ collective owned by master florist and designers Florian Seyd and Ueli Signer.
They organized for the 20th time the Shop for a Week, a temporary shop in which they display wonderful arrangements with plants and flowers and vases. This time the theme was ‘A rose is a rose is a rose’ reason enough for Aleia Roses to support this edition with more than 10,000 roses in order to make an astonishing presentation. The roses were used for two gigantic buckets, a table of roses, a rosewall at the entrance of the shop, a rosetower outside and in several original vases.
Thursday evening the 24th of June the pre-opening was visited by about 80 invites and was a great success. We even could count on the presence of a representative of the Spanish Embassy in the Netherlands. During the whole opening period between 800 to 1000 visitors entered the shop to take a closer look.
The most heard spontaneous reactions were: ‘the color is super’, ‘the smell is great’, ‘I have never seen so many roses on one spot’, ‘ in one word: impressive!’ The wall of roses at the entrance caught the eye of people who were passing by and had a stopping effect; it was photographed many times!
15 to 20 journalist and bloggers passed by and shared pictures online. Like for example on the webpage of Residence, a well-known lifestyle magazine, and Trade magazines like FloralDaily.
We thank Florian and Ueli a lot for this co operation!
